Interesting Gameplay

Dealing: Any player may begin as the dealer, who then rotates clockwise after each round. All 52 cards are distributed face down, ensuring each player receives 13 cards.

Bidding: Starting to the right of the dealer and moving counterclockwise, players announce their bids indicating the number of tricks they plan to win, with a minimum bid of 2 and a theoretical maximum of 12.

Playing Tricks: The player to the right of the dealer leads the first trick with spades serving as the permanent trumps. The victor of each trick thereafter continues to lead.

Scoring: Realizing the exact number of tricks bid—or even one additional—results in the bid being added to that player's score. Falling short means the bid is deducted. The game concludes at the players' discretion, with the highest scorer declared the victor.

In Nepal, it goes by "Callbreak" and sweetly dubbed "Lakdi, Lakadi" in India.
